Wart Remedies

How does one take care of warts? Or better yet, how does one get rid of them? Wart remedies can be easily found in a lot of places but finding the right one for your kind of wart problems and one that can be easily done at home without too much hassle is the key to finding the cure you need. Eliminating your warts can be easily done at home and the place where your wart is located can make then job of removing it easier or harder.

Where Warts Are Often Located

Where your warts can be found also has a bearing on how you treat them so you may need to find area specific treatments for your warts. An example of a wart that may need a different kind of treatment as opposed to a treatment for a wart on your toe or finger is a wart that is found on your private parts. Some people search the internet for remedies to warts like these by typing in the search field "genitle wart remover" or even "genetal wart remedy" and sometimes even "gental wart remover." Genital wart removal may definitely be very different from how you remove warts that are found elsewhere on your body. These warts are often found near or around your genital wall and may require a doctor's attention for proper treatment.

Other places where warts may be found on a person include the back, the neck area, the face and other skin covered areas...which means basically everywhere. More sensitive parts like the face and the genital area require a more gentle yet still effective form of medication as compared to other body parts. The key to getting the right kind of wart treatments for your wart problems is doing the treatments according to where these warts are found. Where these warts are located also have a bearing on their appearance. An example of this is that facial warts often appear flat and in singular units while other warts on the other parts of your body may be raised or seen in clusters.

Home Remedies for Warts

There are a number of home remedies you can use for the removal of warts. Except for genital warts which may require some medical attention, some of these home remedies have been used by other people who have sworn to their effectiveness.

1. Vinegar and Apple Cider Vinegar Cure - Any of these two vinegars can help cure warts that can be found on your body. All you have to do is soak a small piece of cotton, like those that are found on the tip of a Q-tip, and secure this vinegar soaked cotton on top of the wart with a band-aid. You simply need to change the vinegar soaked cotton and band-aid remedy everyday until the wart falls off.

2. Duct Tape Cure - This may seem an unusual way to remove or eliminate warts from your body, but why argue with success? All you have to do is secure the wart area with a piece of duct tape until the wart dries up and falls off. Change the piece of duct tape on the wart everyday and be prepared to endure the itch that comes with this kind of a treatment. It is pretty effective though and well worth the itch since the wart will fall off in a week or so.
